Dash

A sizable narrative-driven exploration-adventure game created with a friend for the Indie Game Challenge 2010.  Travel through a strange world, platform through dungeons, fight bosses, discover secrets, and engage yourself in an interesting tale of time travel, morality, and religion.  The game takes, on average, about 5-6 hours to complete.

Feedback of Note:

"I can see you're quite experienced at game making [...] Good graphics, nice sound and fun too! Almost professional quality." (Cakefish @gmc.yoyogames.com)

"This game is real good, fun gamplay and graphics. Music is also really good." (js1210 @sandbox.yoyogames.com)

"This really should be featured." (AdamBombProductions @sandbox.yoyogames.com)

"To start I want to punch the people who feature games in the face for not making this game featured. 2nd Amazing game I love it not only action but a bunch of worlds to explore. Two thumbs up!!" (soma45x @sandbox.yoyogames.com)

Notes:
... The game takes some inspiration from Matt Thorson's An Untitled Story (Check out his other works, too).

Known Bugs:
... Post-game progress may not be saved properly.
... Dashing into the corner of a block may result in a weird hanging motion until movement keys are released.

Known Issues:
... The third miniboss in Coral Caverns is difficult due to a design error.  If you stand on the edge of the platform with the bubble cannons, the boss becomes much less frustrating to fight.

As always, feedback is welcome.
